The Cottage
This traditional style West Coast cottage has been recently renovated. It is routinely maintained and decorated and is well equipped throughout. Heating is either by electric heaters or by coal fire. The water is heated by immersion. Electricity is not included and coal can be bought at several shops on the island. The cottage is traditional west coast cottage with 3 foot thick walls. Originally was a thatched cottage but now has a black saddle shaped roof. The cottage stands on its own 1 mile from one of the main villages with lovely views of most of the island.
The 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4/5, one double room and one twin room (both supplied with duvets and pillows, no bed linen or towels supplied) and is ideal family accommodation. We insist on no pets and a non smoking policy. To operate a immediate entry policy tenants are asked to keep the cottage clean and tidy.
More information to help you around the cottage and on Tiree can be found in the Info Pack in the cottage. Please read it when you arrive.
